FACILITY RENTAL SPACES

Thank you for your interest in hosting your next event with us at the South Whidbey Community Center!  Please complete this form with your requested event's info!

FACILITY RENTAL RATES:

Facility Rental Rates

Indoor rooms:

​

Non-Profit Groups:

Cost $15/hr  $40  for four hours  $75 full day

Includes organizations which might wish to use community center facilities for lectures, promotional activities, rallies, entertainment, college courses, or other activities for which public halls or commercial facilities generally are rented or owned.

Events with more that 20 expected attendees are subject to a minimum $25/day custodial fee

General:

Cost: $25/hr $80  for four hours    $100 full day

Includes members of the public who would like to rent the facilities for, but not limited to, family gatherings, book club meetings, birthday parties, not for profit art shows and or play groups.

Events with more that 20 expected attendees are subject to a minimum $25/day custodial fee

Commercial Enterprises:

Cost $40/hr $120 four hours   $150 full day

This includes profit-making and business-related enterprises.

Events with more that 20 expected attendees are subject to a minimum $25/day custodial fee

SWSD:

South Whidbey School District meeting or function

Outdoor Spaces: TBD based on organization type and usage, please complete form with details and we will get back to you with prices

Payment:

After your rental request is approved, you will receive an invoice to the email provided on this form from the South Whidbey School District. This email will include payment instructions. Cash or a check made out to "South Whidbey School District# 206" are accepted.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel, please let us know by email (info@southwhidbeycommunitycenter.org) within 72 hours of your rental date. If you cancel within 72 hours, you will not be charged. If you don't cancel within 72 hours or do not show for the booking, you will incur a fee of 50% of your rental cost.

Insurance Requirements:

* Proof of insurance is required to secure your rental. The Community Center property is owned by South Whidbey School District.

​

The Certificate of Insurance, naming South Whidbey School District- NOT THE SOUTH WHIDBEY COMMUNITY CENTER as an additional insured, must be received (at least 3 days prior) to occupying the premises. Liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence is required.

We know this is a barrier to some individuals who may wish to rent and we hope to find a solution, but there are currently NO exceptions to this requirement.  Some insurance carriers offer Event Liability Insurance, which can cover individuals and organizations who don't have general liability insurance.
